Manchester, Great Britain
With similar attributes of balance, precision and attention to detail the automotive brand of Infiniti and twelve times FIM Trial World Champion Dougie Lampkin MBE officially confirmed their relationship when the motorcycle legend took delivery of a brand new Infiniti QX70.
Red Bull athlete Lampkin, who is Yorkshire born and bred, collected the sleek looking and powerful V6 diesel SUV from Infiniti Centre Hull, which is part of the brand's growing UK centre network.
Globally recognised as the official title partner of the Infiniti Red Bull Racing Formula One team, Infiniti with its increasing model range is really starting to make its presence felt throughout the world and across Europe. Dougie Lampkin will be looking to play his part in taking this message to market, especially across the UK.
Speaking about this exciting new tie-up Lampkin said. "I am obviously immensely proud to be associated with such a quality brand as Infiniti and to have the chance to make use of what is without doubt an incredible vehicle."
"The QX70 is ideal for my kind of lifestyle, it has a prestige on the road presence and can easily eat up the many motorway miles that I do, but equally I am sure it will be a great tool in allowing me to access the many locations where trials riding takes me."
"I would like to thank everyone at Infiniti for making this happen and to Steve Smith and his team at the Infiniti Centre in Hull for making me feel very much a part of the brand."
Stephen Smith - Director at Infiniti Centre Hull added his own comments. "There is no doubt in our mind that Dougie is going to be a great ambassador for the brand. He has an immense following in the World of motorcycling and through his exploits at Goodwood Festival of Speed and on Top Gear he has truly become a household name."
"We are sure that Dougie will really enjoy the QX70 and will experience its full benefits over the coming months, as he flies the flag for Infiniti both in the Yorkshire region and further afield."
